At FAIRIA, clean is not about fear or perfection. It is about making considered choices about the ingredients we formulate with and being transparent about the ingredients we choose to leave out.

Across our perfume, incense, laundry and fabric care collections, we follow a defined FAIRIA formulation standard. Every product is developed with its purpose in mind, whether it is worn on the skin, burned in the home or used to care for clothing and fabrics.

While the ingredients required for a perfume are naturally different from those used in incense or laundry care, our approach remains consistent: thoughtful formulation, purposeful ingredients and no unnecessary additions.

All FAIRIA products are formulated without the ingredients on our "We Say No To" list below.

For us, “clean” is a formulation philosophy rather than a claim that an ingredient is universally good or bad.

We carefully consider what each ingredient contributes to a formula and choose not to formulate with a defined list of ingredients that do not align with our approach.

Our formulation standard extends across three areas of everyday fragrance and care:

SKIN — Perfume

Fragrance designed to be worn on the skin, created with thoughtfully selected fragrance materials and sugarcane-derived alcohol.

SPACE — Incense

Fine-fragrance incense crafted from cedarwood and sandalwood powders and triple-soaked in a perfume-grade fragrance blend made predominantly with essential oils.

LINEN — Laundry & Fabric Care

Purposeful formulations designed to clean, care for and fragrance clothing, fabrics and linens while following the same FAIRIA ingredient philosophy.

Clean Perfume — Skin

FAIRIA perfumes combine fine fragrance with a considered approach to formulation.

Our fragrances are made with sugarcane-derived alcohol and thoughtfully selected fragrance ingredients, creating scents designed to feel refined, expressive and quietly luxurious on the skin.

FAIRIA perfumes follow our wider formulation standard and are vegan and cruelty free.

Clean Incense — Space

FAIRIA incense brings our fine-fragrance approach into the home.

Each stick is crafted from cedarwood and sandalwood powders, then triple-soaked in a perfume-grade fragrance blend made predominantly with essential oils, with a drying stage between each infusion.

The collection is vegan and cruelty free and follows the same FAIRIA formulation standard.

Clean Fabric Care — Linen

Our laundry and fabric care collection brings the FAIRIA philosophy to clothing, bedding and everyday textiles.

Each formula is created to perform its intended cleaning or fabric-care function while following our wider ingredient standard.

The result is functional fabric care paired with the fragrance experience of FAIRIA — extending Clean & Quiet Scents from skin and space to linen.
